Essay

The object is an existential display "Self I" in the history and philosophy of European metaphysics. The aim is to study the essence and constitutive aspects of the existential phenomenon of "Self I", to educe his specific in the history and philosophy of European metaphysics. The methods are dialectical, structural-functional, existential. The study elucidates the concept of "self I" in the context of classic, nonclassical and postnonclassical philosophical thought, characterizes the conceptual features of their relevance and existence, and proposes a thorough comparison of the intrinsic and extrinsic modes of existence of self. The dissertation delves deeper into the categories of subjectivity, corporality and concern, and explores interdependence of research on the phenomenon of "self I". Special attention is given to the analysis of the process of reification of subjectivity on the modern stage of development of human civilization. Also it assumes, that "self I" is the result of the active effort of individuals, when they exposes their own unique presence in being, since in everyday life, the individual does not always recognize self as a "self I". For this realization to occur it is necessary that he/she carries out an act, an intentional effort for acquisition of authentic existence. Application sphere are the training courses.
