Essay

Technical state of exploited blade (20Kh13) and disk (34KhN3M) steels after ~300000 hour of service was estimated using studies of structure, fracture mechanisms, mechanical and electrochemical characteristics. The method of improving of disk workability was proposed. Correlation between electrochemical and mechanical steel parameters was proposed to be used to determine the mechanical properties of steel by non-destructive way. Based on this is it possible to ground residual lifetime of turbine blades.
