Object-the effect of Chromium supplementation on metabolic processes of broiler chickens. Purpose- to find out the effect of high level of chromium in, chickens diet on their growth, protein, lipid, carbohydrates metabolism, activity of immune and antioxidant system in their organism. Methods:the morphological, biochemical, immunological, zootechnical, statistical. Novelty: for the first time it has been established that in liver and skeletal muscles of broilers that were fed by concentrates with chromium supplement in dose 400, 800, 1600 and 3200 mg/kg as CrCl3•6H2O the dose dependent increase of chromium level and decrease of iron level; in blood plasma the level of glucose, total lipids, triacylglicerols, cholesterol and products of lipid peroxidation decreases; in blood plasma, liver and skeletal muscles the level of PUFA increases and the protein and lipid composition changes in blood serum, liver and skeletal muscles. The body weight of broilers higher. Results: it was determined dose-dependent increase in the content of Chromium and a decrease in the content of Iron in the liver and skeletal muscles of chickens-broilers in raising the level of Chromium in the diet. In the blood of chickens-broilers and this reduces the level of glucose, lipids, triacylglicerols, cholesterol and gama-globulin and the content of prealbumin, in the composition of lipids in the blood plasma increases the content of polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fatty acids. In the liver and skeletal muscles of chickens-broilers in raising the level of Chromium in the diet changes protein, lipid and fatty acid composition. It is not revealed the influence of additives of Chromium in the number of 400-3200 mkg/kg of mixed fodders on the content of the products of peroxide oxidation of lipids and activity of antioxidant enzymes in the blood, liver and skeletal muscle and in the number of T- and B-lymphocytes in the blood of broiler chickens and their activity. Found an inverse relationship between the number of annexed to the ration of broiler chickens Chromium and their body weight. It was found out, that optimum feed the chicken-broiler with two weeks of age the standard feed with the addition of Chromium in the amount of 400 mkg/kg for a period of 30 days. Sphere of use: biochemistry, feeding, science about birds.
