The thesis is devoted to the topical issue of Orthopedics and Traumatology: improving outcomes in patients with ganglion of wrist joint through the development of new methods for the diagnosis and pathogenesis based treatment. Based on analysis of the results of clinical examination and treatment of 192 patients with ganglion of wrist joint has been determined that a history of chronic disease strain with mikrotravmatizatsiey carpal joints is more often than its acute trauma: 49 % versus 18 % in primary and 44 % versus 28 % in the control groups. Pain syndrome encountered in 75.1 %. The absence of connection between the intensity of pain and level of introganglion pressure (p>0,1). In the pathologic study of ganglion of wrist joint tissues in 45 % of the identified features miksoydnoi dystrophy, which is considered as the pathogenetic basis of disease recurrence. The dependence of changes in the geometric characteristics of ganglion dorsum of the wrist joint of introganglion pressure which obeys the law of Laplace. Elaboration diagnostic and treatment of patients ganglion of wrist joint provides a differentiated approach to the choice of treatment method and takes into account the sonographic picture of ganglion, the level of tension of its wall, the nature of the disease. The application of the algorithm has improved the treatment results compared with the control group by 31 % in the conservative treatment (p<0,05) and 17 % in the surgical treatment (p<0,05). The recovery phase integrity of the joint capsule of the wrist after ganglionektomii not significantly affect the development of disease recurrence in up to 1 year after surgery (p>0,1).
