Tkachenko V. State external economic strategy as mean of providing of national economy competitiveness

The object of study is formation of foreign policies of the state. The purpose of research is development of teaching approaches, methods, models and scientific and practical recommendations concerning development of formation mechanism of the state foreign economic strategy and its constituents. Methods of investigation are dialectical methods of scientific knowledge, systematic approach to the analysis of external economic relations between the state and the process of forming strategic priorities for its development in this plane. The practical significance of the results of the study is that the basic provisions and the findings of the applicant are "introduced into work of the legislative and executive authorities, state agencies, departments and organizations." Scientific novelty of the results is that the thesis is a comprehensive study of conditions for increasing competitiveness of the national economy, in which methodological approaches to the formation of an advanced state of Ukraine's foreign economic strategy, methods and models for its implementation are proposed. The concept of "foreign economic strategy of the state", a methodical approach to the classification of modern state foreign policies and methodical approaches to the use of international competitiveness ratings of foreign economies in the formation of national foreign policies of the state are improved. The method of determining of the major downside risks to the competitiveness of the domestic economy, the method of analysis of the competitiveness of sectors of national economy, with the inclusion of features of the rapid analysis of the current state of the economy, the prospects for improving the competitiveness of the Ukrainian national production model (map) baseline scenarios of differentiated foreign economic strategy for Ukrainian export-oriented industries on the principles of the proposed methodological approach, methodical approach to the implementation of the baseline scenario differentiated state's foreign economic strategy for the domestic steel industry have got further development.
