Essay

The dissertation deals with investigation of optical properties of amorphous metallic Co-rich alloys as well as revealing and studying the co-ordination between their optical and magnetotransport properties. The optical and magneto-optical features of Co-inclusive layered structures were studied and analyzed as well. The influence of the ribbons' composition (as well as its variation) and the thermal treatment (and its laser analogue) on optical and magneto-transport properties is investigated. It is experimentally proved, that combination of ferromagnetic ordering and plasma resonance in layered Pt/Co(CoAg)/Pt films leads to the high valued Kerr rotation in ultraviolet spectral region.
