A concept "cognitive activity is in-process investigational, her structure, essence, maintenance, is certain. Criteria, indexes and levels of cognitive activity of students of senior classes, are distinguished. The imitation-playing going is analysed near the studies of history, an imitation-didactics game comes forward as basic unit of realization of that. During a pedagogical experiment methodology of the use of comics and collages is approved in the process of studies of history, the structural model of forming of cognitive activity facilities of imitation-didactics game is worked out and efficiency of the worked out model and effectiveness of didactics terms of forming of cognitive activity of students are experimentally tested in the process of imitation-playing studies.
