The process of enterprise competitiveness planning is the research object. The theoretical, methodological and methodic fundamentals of machine-building enterprises competitiveness planning are the research subject. The development of theoretic principles and practical methodic basics of machine-building enterprises competitiveness planning is the research aim. The semantic analysis, grouping, statistical analysis, expertise, structural-logical analysis, multi-criteria evaluation, systemic approach are the research methods. In the dissertation the strategic and tactic technology of machine-building enterprises competitiveness planning have been developed for the first time. The classification of machine-building enterprises competitiveness factors by means of introducing essential and independent qualities, the system of machine-building enterprises competitiveness planning indices, the method of strategic and tactic competitiveness planning instruments selection according to the criteria list have been improved. The category "machine-building enterprises competitiveness"; classification of competitiveness planning types and classification of enterprise competitiveness planning evaluation methods have been further developed. The results of conducted research have been used and embedded in the activity of machine-building enterprises and are used in the academic process. The enterprises of machine-building industry are the sphere of author's proposals usage.
