3. The object of the research is the economic plans of the machine-building enterprises. The aim of this work is to develop scientific-theoretical and practical recommendations that will streamline the process of formation and evaluation of economic plans in the system of management methods taking into the consideration the specifity of the engineering field. The author used the methods of systems analysis, structural and logical analysis, statistical, comparative, graphics and correlation analysis. Theoretical value of the work is in clarification of the categories of "economic planning" and "quality of plan", extension of the management methods classification, improvement of the classification of economic plans, improving the basic provisions of theory of formation and evaluation of economic plans in the system of management methods, conclusions regarding the economic substance of indicators of evaluation of the economic plans. Scientific novelty of the proposed method is that planned values of economic indicators based on the use of cluster analysis with selection average cluster values of and higher values of clusters as a target for companies respective cluster. The subject of research is the development and evaluation of economic planning machine-building enterprises. Recommendations of the author used to enhance the efficiency of formation and evaluation of economic plans in the system management methods engineering enterprises.
