Ponomarenko O. The metaphysics of light in the Ukrainian philosophy of Kievan Rus period.

The object is light metaphysics. The aim is to find out the specificity of light metaphysics formation and development in the Ukrainian philosophy of Kievan Russia. The methods are dialectical, comparative, hermeneutical, systematic, method of exegesis, existential method, phenomenon and existential-psychoanalytic ones. In the research process we determined key components of mythological consciousness of ancient slavs on the basis of which the formation of Ukrainian world outlook took place. With Christianity acceptance the above-mentioned components connected with Slavic adoration of the Sun assimilated with Christian postulates. Created in the process of assimilation world outlooks formed the basis for the development of light metaphysics as a philosophical trend of Kievan Russia period . The sphere is the academic process.
