Kasyan A. Development and functioning of the market for crop protecting agents

The research deals with peculiarities of the market for plant protecting agents, summarizing and proposing new approaches to the development of the domestic market for plant protecting agents, based on the complex assessment of the relevant processes (particularly, analysis of the efficiency of its participants, assessment of benefits for the final consumer and perspectives of the domestic manufacturing of these agents). The study pioneered in using the method of the economic and mathematic modeling for positioning of the manufacturers of the plant protecting agents and analysis of interaction of the market agents through supply chains, proposing a set of government support actions, which would facilitate development of domestic manufacturers of plant protecting agents and restrict the negative influence of this strategy for the final consumers. Special attention is paid to expansion of cooperation opportunities for domestic manufacturers of plant protecting agents and foreign companies in the area of formulation of relevant products in Ukraine.
