Essay

The paper examines the background and features of the academic professionalism development of Ukrainian folk instruments. Davidov’s scientific and practical school for bayanists is researched in the context of academic instrumental performance. Additionally, the profound side of the methodology core is examined, which demonstrates the specific features and forms an integrated technological system of educational training for a musician-performer. Periodization of evolutionary processes of the methodological concept formation of Ukrainian academic folk and instrumental art is proposed, and characteristics of each period is given. Scientific and methodological works of students of Davydov’s school are analyzed and their scientific, theoretical and practical importance is identified.
