Essay

Research object: the processes of formation of low-temperature porcelain. Research purpose: the masses and compositions of glazes based on domestic quartz-feldspar are development and modification of process parameters for household porcelain with high performance and aesthetic properties at a reduced temperature of firing. Research methods and apparatus: X-rey phase (DRON-3М), differentially-thermal ("Paulik-Paulik-Erdey"), gamma-spectroscopy (gamut-spectrometer of SEG-001 "AKP-C"), ik-spectral (spectrometer of Perkin Elmer Spectrum One), petrographic (polarization microscope of MIN-8), electronic-microscopic (electronic microscope of REMMA-101A) methods, complex of physic -mechanical methods and statistical methods of planning of experiment with the use of COMPUTER. Theoretical and practical results:developed formulations of low-temperature porcelain and nephrytic glazes on domestic quartz-feldspar, which eliminates the use of imported materials feldspar, provides a reduction of fuel consumption and reduces the cycle of heat treatment and provides porcelain household goods with a set of high performance and aesthetic properties. Novelty: theoretically substantiated and experimentally proved the possibility of obtaining low-temperature porcelain due to the intensification of liquid-phase sintering by complex chemical modification and creation of conditions for the formation of mullite and cordierite phase in the presence of mineralizer additives. The regularities of formation of structure and phase composition of low-temperature porcelain with a set of high performance and aesthetic properties. Degree of introduction: proposed energy-saving technology of porcelain for household use will be introduced to the company, "Baranowski porcelain factory " (Baranovka, Zhytomyr region). after modernization, the results have been implemented in the educational process of NTU "KPI". Industry of the use: job performances can be used on the enterprises of porcelain and glazed pottery industry for the production of service-utility porcelain; also in higher educational establishments at preparation of specialists on technology of refractory non-metal and silicate materials.
