Dissertation is devoted to the study of complex administrative and legal characteristics of state policy reform health care in terms of implementation in Ukraine of mandatory health insurance. Analysis of socio-economic and legal preconditions for the introduction in Ukraine of this type of insurance are the author's classification and forth nature of the legal principles of the obligatory medical insurance. Explored legal grounds for introduction in Ukraine of compulsory health insurance.
