Essay

We obtain the coarse characterizations of the Cantor macro-cube and the Baire macro-space which are asymptotic counterparts of the classical characterizations of the Cantor cube аnd the Baire space. We apply this results to coarse classification of homogeneous asymptotically zero-dimensional metric spaces and locally-finite and Abelian countable groups. Also we study metric spaces with the properties of de Groot and Nagata.
