Essay

The dissertation is devoted to development of neutron-physical model of research subcritical nuclear reactor driven by high-intensity neutron generator. The presented model of reactor has two fuel cores with fast and thermal neutron spectrums what can allow to carry out the nuclear waste transmutation and to solve the applied tasks which need the different neutron spectra. Optimization modeling of homogeneous and heterogeneous subcritical systems is done using the codes MCNP and SCALE. The optimization characteristics of research subcritical nuclear reactor are obtained.
