Essay

The thesis is devoted to studying the place and role of youth political values and political orientations in the context of determining priorities of foreign policy development of Ukraine. In particular, major approaches to studying political values and orientations have been analysed. Peculiarities of youth value orientations formation under the influence of individual agents of socialization (state youth policy, youth civic organisations, the educational institutions) have been disclosed, depending on the specifics of their activities in the political space and the nature of interaction with young people. Ways of shaping active attitude of youth to prospects of foreign policy development of Ukraine have been proposed.
