Essay

The thesis is devoted to optimization of the energy balance of the body and its disorders through the establishment of diagnostic informational content and diagnostic capabilities 13C-bicarbonate breath test in healthy and sick patients, and its introduction into clinical practice. The advantages are noninvasive, accuracy, patient safety, ease of implementation and low cost. The obtained results allow for the implement in clinical practice a new approach for the individual diagnosis of basal metabolism and daily energy expenditure, which significantly improve the efficiency of energy determination of healthy and sick, to determine the presence of concomitant pathology.
