Essay

The dissertation contributes to the scientific research in the area of automated training of operators in different qualifications. The aim of the work is to increase the efficiency of automated training of operator by accounting of cognitive factors in the instructor’s decision making concerning operator’s preparedness. The weightiness of cognitive factors was revealed with the help of the method of structural analysis of time series of cognitive factors on the basis of Fuzzy C-Means clustering. The cognitive model of operator training situation was developed on the basis of discrete interval type-2 fuzzy sets. The method of assessment of operator’s preparedness was developed as multistage fuzzy inference of situational confidence and resulting confidence of instructor. The information technology of decision making support concerning operator’s preparedness was developed and applied in the automated training system for operators at an energy block of the thermal power station.
