The object of the research is K. Abgarovych and Y. Fedkovych's prose written on the Hutsul theme. The aim of the thesis is the comparative research on the topos of Hutsul land in K. Abgarovych and Y. Fedkovych's prose through the prism of the modern theoretic, concretehistorical and literary-cultural discourse of Ukrainian and Polish borderland of 1772-1914. Practical value of the thesis is caused by the possibility of the material usage in the further research on K. Abgarovych and Y. Fedkovych's heritage. The methods: compound comparative method, philological, comparative and historical, typological, hermeneutic and other methods.
