Ivanyuk O. The economic basis of biomass use for energy-saving in rural areas

The purpose of the research is the development of theoretical positions and practical recommendations of the rationale for the choice of economic alternatives of the biomass use and formation of power supply system in rural areas. Object of the research is the process of using the biomass of plant and animal origin on purpose of energy supply of the rural areas. Methods of the research: scientific abstraction, selection of alternatives, economic and statistical and economic-mathematical methods. The theoretical results: rationale of implementing economic alternatives to the use of biomass on the rural areas. Practical results: study of measures as for efficient use of biomass on the rural areas. The scientific novelty: it is formulated methodological approach as for enhance of the energy security of the rural areas with the help of creation of local energy systems, which are based on usage of biomass energy and other alternative economically viable energy sources. The degree of implementation: the results of the made research are applied by Department of Agriculture Development of Zhytomir and Khmelnytskyi regional state administrations, agricultural enterprises and while learning process in Zhytomir National Agro-Ecological University. Efficiency: the results of the research would increase the level of energy supply in rural areas. Scope of use: central and local executive bodies, local governments, higher educational establishments, agricultural and forestry enterprises.
