Dissertation is devoted to the increasing the efficiency of treatment of obesity in children on the basis of study of clinical significance of psycho-emotional factors in forming of obesity and development of new methods of the combined medical and psychotherapy support. Risk factors in child obesity were studied in 144 obese children and 48 healthy children. These are the followings risk factors in development of obesity: burdened family heredity on obesity, hypertensive disease, Type II Diabetes, pathology of reproductive system, combined gestosis 1 and 2 terms of pregnancy, weakness in delivery of child, low birth weight, artificial feeding, raised personality anxiety, de-adaptation, neurasthenic type of reactions, astheno-depressive and astheno-hypochondriac types of accentuation of character. Developed method of combined medical-psychological therapy of obesity in children promotes body weight loss, forming of constant motivated food habit and improvement of psycho-emotional background of child, liquidation of pathological consequences of disadaptation. decline in frequency of relapses of disease during a year, improvement of adherence therapy.
