Essay

Technical vegetable oils (TVO) and their compositions. Synthesis of new ecologically safe biosynthetic products on the basis of TVO, the creation of lubricating compositions and the investigation of their physicochemical and performance properties. The physicochemical and tribological properties of biosynthetic products and lubricating oils were determined by standard methods in accordance with operating state standards. The analysis of surfaces of experimental specimens was conducted on Auger microanalyzer JAMP-900F of the JEOL firm (Japan). Theoretical and applied aspects of comprehensive reprocessing of technical vegetable oils (such as rapeseed and soy-gm oils) were considered. And the reprocessing of the optimized compositions of these oils with castor oils into ecologically safe surface-active substances (SAS) and biosynthetic lubricating materials of wide range was examined. The components of oil compositions were developed, the methods of synthesis were grounded, and technological models of chemical transformations of TVO into ecologically safe surface-active substances and biomaterials were optimized. The physicochemical fundamentals of processes of primary modification of TVO and their compositions (glycerolysis, glycolysis, methanolysis) were elaborated. Sphere of use is oil chemistry.
