The object of the research - the written archival sources of Orthodox sectarianism history in Taurian province in the first half of the XIX century. The purpose of the dissertation - the identification, classification and analysis of archival sources on the history of the Doukhobors, the Molocans and the Skopets in Taurian province in the first half of the XIX century, determination of their informational possibilities to study the history of the Taurian sectarianism. Methods: analysis and synthesis, historical and logical, classification and typology, historical-comparative, historical-genetic, historical-chronological, heuristic, historiography's analysis and historiographic periodization, hermeneutics, formulary-klauzulny, prosopographic and microhistorical, scientific criticism of sources. Scientific novelty of the dissertation: archival sources on the history of the Doukhobors, the Molocans and the Skopets in Taurian province in the first half of the XIX century first became an object of special study of source; heuristics performed and put into scientific circulation a considerable complex of sources on the history of Taurian sects; clarified the level of credibility and authenticity, informational possibilities of archival documents, representativeness and completeness of the source base. The practical value: the materials of research can be used at a spelling of research works and by development of educational courses and special courses on a history of the Ukraine and local history, history religion and the church; experience in the achievement of confessional consensus can be useful for contemporaries in dealing with similar problems. Sphere of use: higher educational institutions.
