Saypanova A. Scientific and Pedagogical Activity of S. I. Sidelnikov

The object of the research - the journey through life and activity of a historian and lecturer S.I.Sidelnikov in 1920 - 1970. The purpose of the research: the complex studies of the scientific and pedagogical activity of S.I.Sidelnikov and establishment his contribution in the research of the Bulgarian's history of XIX century. The methods of the research: historical-genetic, historical-comparative, retrospective, chronological, problem- chronological, analysis and synthesis of historiography. The scientific novelty and results of the research: for the first time in Ukrainian and foreign historiography on the basis of the new archival documents and in view of contemporary methods of historical-biographical cognition the complex research of the biography, scientific heritage and pedagogical creation are carried out. Systematized and described the personal archive of the scientist. Put into scientific circulation new documents of the archives of Ukraine, Russia and Bulgaria. Supplemented the bibliography of the historian's scientific and sociopolitical works. Given the comprehensive characteristic of the scientist's researches in view of modern historiography.
