Work is devoted to the analysis of essence and value the rule of law and discipline in the activities of Traffic police of Ukraine. Have the concept, principles, requirements, guarantees and means of ensuring the rule of law and discipline in the activities of Traffic police of Ukraine, analysis of their present state. The peculiarities of separate kinds of the control of the activity of the departments of Traffic police of Ukraine: the state, internal, legal, public, and also features of supervisory activities of the prosecutor's office to ensure the legality and discipline in the activities of Traffic police of Ukraine. The сoncrete recommendations on the improvement of human security, namely the implementation of professional personnel selection based on scientifically sound methods, taking into account the peculiarities of service in the State, improving the initial preparation for the State, carried out in training centers of MIA of Ukraine, compliance staff positions whereas their specificity and diversity in the structure of the State, certain education and training, active use of reserve training institute in the process of staffing the State highly qualified.
