Essay

The mathematical model of energy flows in the cogeneration plant is proposed. The design schemes of cogeneration plants for decentralized heat supply on the basis of an internal combustion engine and for solid fuel boiler on the base of the analysis of the energy potentials of fluids are developed. On the base of the proposed mathematical model and experimental data obtained, calculation of rates of thermal efficiency of the proposed schemes of cogeneration plants for decentralized heating is made. It is found that the use of combustion products of diesel fuel in heat boilers can increase the value of thermal as well as eksergy efficiency and fuel utilization factor. Reduction of the consumption of solid fuels makes possible to get environmental benefits by reducing the concentration of harmful substances in the atmospheric surface layer, as well as to achieve cost reduction for the purchase of coal, and to have a certain prevented ecological damage as well as.
