Shmikova O. The role of chronochemotherapy in conservative treatment of patients with non-resectable breast cancer

Object of research - the chronochemotherapy in treatment of patients with breast cancer. A research objective: to improve results of chemotherapeutic treatment of patients with the locally invasive inoperable breast cancer by definition of daily biorhythms of tumor cells of a breast cancer and application chronochemotherapy. Methods of research - clinical, laboratory, cytologic, immunohistochemical, statistical processing of results. Novelty: For the first time in clinical practice on the basis of studying of daily biorhythms of breast tumors by radiothermy and immunohistochemical studying proliferative activity the method chronochemotherapy of the breast cancer is proved. Results: Application chronochemotherapy with a glance daily biorhythms of the locally invasive inoperable breast cancer has allowed to lower (p <0,001) risk of death from disease progressing in comparison with control group, ВР=0,5 (95 % ВІ 0,37-0,63). The 3-year-old survival among patients of investigated group has made 48,6±4,8 %, control - 33,3±4,5 % (p <0,05). It is introduced in practice of the Zaporozhye regional oncological clinic, the Lvov state oncological regional medical-diagnostic centre, the Melitopol oncological clinic, the Berdyansk city hospital. Results of work are used in educational process of the Zaporozhye state medical university and the Zaporozhye medical academy postgraduate education. A field of application: medicine (oncology).
