Essay

The object is the Keyed joints of concrete and reinforced concrete elements with fiber-reinforced concrete with synthetic (polypropylene) fibers; the goal is improving of the keyed joints of concrete and reinforced concrete elements through the use of fiber-reinforced concrete with synthetic fibers; the method is the experimental studies in laboratory conditions keyed joints using electromechanical methods of measuring strain, the methods of mechanics of solid deformable body, variational method in the theory of concrete plasticity; the novelty is the new experimental data about the mechanical properties of fiber-reinforced concrete and deformation of reinforcement, the characteristics of destruction and its ultimate load were obtained; the method of the joints strength calculation by a variational method in the theory of concrete plasticity was developed; the results are the confirmation of the fiber-reinforced polypropylene for fibers feasibility in the butt joints; the proof of the ability of the variational method in the theory of concrete plasticity use in the calculation of their strength; the design of the simplified method of determining of the ultimate load of joints; the creation of the tables for determination of the joints strength with the main factors of the strength and reinforcement features; for practical use development of the practical recommendations for the width of the weld limitation and the reinforcement percent for the joint efficient operation; industry - building
