Essay

The work presents the research results concerning the principal mechanisms in chronic heart failure development at essential hypertension in combination with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. The type of structural and functional changes of the heart in chronic heart failure patients with a combination of arterial hypertension and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and chronic heart failure with arterial hypertension without concomitant COPD has been identified. The relation between levels of NTproBNP, CRP, indicators of structural and functional state of the heart, clinical indicators, parameters of oxidant - antioxidant systems and indicators of respiratory function in chronic heart failure patients with arterial hypertension in combination with COPD have been examined. It has been proved the preference for the usage of basic therapy in combination of trimetazidine and thiotriazoline for 24 weeks, resulting in a significant reduction in levels of inflammatory activation, normalization of pro- and antioxidant systems and improvement of left ventricular diastolic function parameters compared with basic therapy and basic therapy with use only trimetazidine.
