Lipisivitskyi M. Short forms of drama : system of genres, originality of poetics (based oh German Literature of the first third of the 20th century).

For the first time in Ukraine the system of genres and originality of poetics of short forms of drama is researched in this dissertation. Literary analysis of the main features of genre system and originality of poetics of short forms of drama was conducted on the basis of German literature of the first third of the 20th century. The dissertation points out the main criteria for distinction of short forms of drama from long ones, the peculiarities of functioning of terminology, important parts of which are the notions of efficiency and economy of artistic means, the reduction at all levels of text, one plot line, methadramatics, applicative, syncretism, experimental entity and engagement, entertainment, improvisation. For the first time in Ukrainian literary criticism along with one-act play the uniqueness of such short poetic drama genres as micro-drama, dramatic scene and mini-drama and poetical peculiarities of the specific form of short German-speaking drama in the first third of the 20th century as Kabarettst?ck are considered. Formation of the German drama of the twentieth century is viewed in non-traditional, but common to all European literature aesthetic perspective - the perspective of generally stipulating coexistence big dramatic forms along with the short ones.
