Essay

This dissertation is devoted to the study of musical culture of the Crimea of ХХ century through the prism of regionics as a historical and cultural phenomenon in the national context. The paper highlights the little-known history of the cultural environment and the emergence of the academic movement formation in the Crimean Peninsula, as well as the life and career of famous composers who lived and worked in the Crimea: A. Karamanov, A. Lebedev, Chen Bao Hua, E. Trotsenko. Different sections of the Crimean musical culture in regional aspect are particularly and comprehensively investigated in the study. It promotes an appropriate reflection of the national identity specifics, but also stimulates the natural development and updating of professional traditions. In general, it provides the effectiveness of the progressive culture- formative processes performance, and thus prevents the leveling of Ukraine culture in the context of European musical history.
