Dissertation is sacred to research of theoretical, methodical and practical questions, related to the features of mechanism of commission of crime in modern terms. Historical way of crime-detection knowledge about the mechanism of crime commitment, its theoretical basis and practical meaning is examined. Author's concept of the notion "the mechanism of crime commitment" is formulated, its role during the processes of detection, investigation and prevention of crimes is defined.
