The functional quality of rat oocytes following cranial and abdominal local (0,5 -10,0 Gy) and total (0,5 -2,0 Gy) Х-ray irradiation has been studied. The correlation between radiation impact and postirradiation terms on ovulation and superovulation was detected. The radiostimulatory effect on viable oocyte quantity was shown after exposure to 0,5 Gy of total and 5,0 Gy of local head region irradiation. The comparative analysis for different doses as to the distribution of viable and dead cells was accomplished. The oocyte cell death differentiation was performed. All these statements allow defining the most harmful mode of ionizing radiation exposure. The influence of doses and regimen of irradiation on gonadotropins level was analyzed. The study of ionizing radiation impact on offspring formation revealed the reliable increase in descendant number following 0,55 Gy total irradiation dose. The study of isolated MІІ oocyte survival was shown their high radioresistance, which was confirmed by the magnitude of Dq. The proved increase in quantity of progeny of irradiated females was revealed.
