Essay

We offered the method for measurements of conductivity of electrolyte water solutions, which uses the capillary cell. On basis of Einstein's model for viscous flow and some experimental data the hydrodynamic radius of glucose and dextran molecules in water solution was determined. On bases of supposition that ions inside the ball of dextran molecule is immobile we calculated the ion concentration inside and in the ball. Using the idea that diffusion and convection ion flows take place in ion conductor in electric field, we calculated the ion diffusion coefficient for one- and two-component water solutions. The distinctive times and sizes for relaxation processes of different scales for this processes were estimated.
