The thesis is devoted to the actual scientific question as analysis of clinical efficiency and safety of the intrascleral injection of triamcinolone acetonide compared to the sub-tenon's method of introduction in 59 patients with diffuse diabetic macular edema. Safety of the intrascleral injection of triamcinolone acetonide for intraocular tissuies is clinically well-proven with the indexes of ophthalmotonus, degrees of cataract and the inflammatory reaction of an eye during postoperative period, and also his efficiency with the indexes of vision acuity and foveal thickness compared to the sub-tenon's method of introduction.
