Essay

This work is devoted to solving the problem of early diagnosis management of CNS inflammation diseases (meniningitis and meningoencephalitis), causes of mistakes in diagnosing them in different stages of clinical examination. Due to results of clinical observation specified clinical, diagnostical and prognostical meaning of meningeal and general intoxication syndromes's components met in patients with neuroinfections directed to infection department with meniningitis or meningoencephalitis, but they are observed in infectious and other diseases not associated with CNS affection. The correlation of meniningitis or meningoencephalitis clinical features and their clinical course's severity is evaluated. The new recommendation on optimisation the recognizing of the meniningitis and meningoencephalitis for decreasing the level diagnostic mistakes in CNS inflammation diseases are proposed: the preservation of lumbal puncture's high descriptiveness is shown as the main method of confirmation or exclusion the neuroinfection diagnosis, proving the necessariness of widening indications for it being held, even in the diagnostically questionable causes.
