Essay

The thesis suggests a complex cross-paradigmatic approach to the analysis of the phraseological conceptual fields denoting artifacts (measurement units, a gastronomonical code) and mentifacts (concepts connected with spiritual and mental psychic spheres - WILLE / ВОЛЯ, TOD / СМЕРТЬ, SCHICKSAL / ДОЛЯ, GLUCK / ЩАСТЯ) in the German and Ukrainian languages. For the first time such an interdisciplinary notion as a linguocultureme is conceptually justified, its categorial features and functions are revealed and its main types from the position of asymmetry are described.
