Essay

The way to improve the ventilation system aerodynamic characteristics by aligning injection flow in structurally enhanced elements is scientifically substantiated (including a sharp increase and the diffusers, that are located directly after radial fan). The paper suggests a dependency of pressure loss definition in ventilation elements, including energetically indexes' inconsistency and efficiency of the means of injection flow alignment. It is substantiated that ventilation system efficiency is increasing when a new design of flexible connector and leveling plate of radial fan injection flow is used. It is shown the dependencies of the impact of different depth in the injection nozzle and the location of leveling plates in a diffuser, that is joined directly to a radial fan, and their impact on alteration of aerodynamic characteristics of the ventilation system. The means of improving the ventilation systems energy efficiency by aligning radial fan injection flow for variable operation modes is suggested; a new coefficient value for pressure reduction is defined and criterial equations of process similarity received.
