Thesis is devoted to the analysis of organizational and legal grounds of passing of public service in state fire authorities. Specific features of public service in state fire authorities are determined, its notion was defined. The definition and classification of principles of public service in state fire authorities are determined. Criteria for classification of public servants in state fire authorities are defined; the latter are united into groups. Public service legislation in state fire authorities is characterized.
