Essay

The thesis realizes solution for actual scientific problem of improving level of dust and explosion safety within belt roadways of coal mines. It is shown that effect of underbelt area on the level of dust and explosion safety of belt roadway depends on its isolation from general roadway area, and performing functions of explosive burning conductor in emergency. It negates the effectiveness of dust measures re-quiring extra ways and technical means which prevent dust deposit in underbelt area. The solution is to determine laws of process of formation, emission, and accu-mulation of dust which helps to predict dynamics of coal dust discharge and fall with-in belt roadway taking into account effect of underbelt area. It is developed and theoretically grounded mathematical model of change in dust concentration along the length of roadway if a belt is available in it. Develop ways and means of improving level of dust and explosion safety of roadways equipped with belt transport.
