Essay

The dissertation presents a comprehensive and unbiased analysis of the modern historiography of the Ukrainian national movement of the second part of the nine XIX - beginning of XX century. There were revealed approaches, methods and characteristics of the study of this problem. The historiographical analysis includes a thousand publications of Ukrainian and foreign scientists. This kind i research takes a dominant place in scientific works of contemporary local researchers, published after the declaration of sovereignty and independence of Ukraine.
