Essay

This work presents the results of research of the effects of inductors of endogenous interferon on the immune system indices in mice of different ages and strains. Used immunological, molecular biological, colorimetric methods using equipment: laser flow cytofluorymetr ''Beckman Coulter'', microplate photometer ''Labsystems''. It was proved that drug activity mainly is determined by the dosage and the scheme of injections. It was revealed some negative effects of Cycloferon on studied indices in old animals. It was established that the use of multifunctional inducer of endogenous interferon Amizon modulates the immune response old mice, regardless of whether the inducer was administered before or after immunization. It was shown after both 3 months and in 1 year of drug treatments the increase of immune response was not revealed and even there was suppression. It was shown that changes of immunity in juvenile age after using immunomodulators have consequences in later age periods. Obtained data are bases for introduction of new points in protocols of preclinical and clinical research of new immune-modulators for developing special schemes of their use taking into account necessity of choice of drug depending on age.
