Essay

The wokr is devoted to a problem of improvement radiodiagnostics of the upper cervical spine (CS) trauma in the junior and preschool age children using the most informing signs. Based on the study of representative groups a scientific dilemma for radiology was solved to show the effectiveness of radiodiagnostics. Informacity of every sign in trauma patients and its value to define a severity degree of atlas rotatory subluxation has been determined. The US diagnostics of the CS and spinal trauma in the children of 1st year has been developed, and possibilities of MRI and US in diagnostics of spinal birth injuries.
