Essay

Dissertation is devoted to the actual task of improvement of psychopharmacotherapy and psychotherapy of paranoid schizophrenia with concomitant somatic pathology. There is integrated clinico-psychopathological, experimental-pathopsychological and social-medical aspects of comorbidity paranoid schizophrenia and somatic illnesses. The pathogenetic mechanisms of syndromogenesis are described. In the phase of exacerbation of paranoid schizophrenia with concomitant somatic illneses the violations of somatic perception and interpretation of the body feeling as a somatic concern, senesto-hypohondrical displays, somatopsychic depersonalisation, dissociative - conversive symptoms were observed more frequent. Syndromoplastic influence of concomitant somatic pathology on psychopathological symptomatology of paranoid schizophrenia predetermines distortion of subjective estimation of patient's parameters of the psychical and physical functioning. The differential approach to psychopharmacotherapy and psychotherapy of the patients which suffer from paranoid schizophrenia and comorbid somatic pathology from positions of syndromogenesis is worked out and inculcated in practice. Basic results of the dissertation found wide implementation into the work of treating-preventive institutions of Ukraine.
