Essay

Explicit gender markers in English informational publications in Ukraine. The aim of the work is to establish the specifity of usage of gender markers in Ukrainian publications in English comparing them with dictionary data. The methods used are those of linguistic observation and analysis modeling, componential and definition analysis methods. Results can be used sn sociolinguistics, gender studies, stylistics, theory and practice of translation.
