Linguocognitive Structure of the concept BREAK in contemporary English. The aim of the work is to establish the nucleus, the basis and additional layers of its structure. The methods used are those of conceptual, definitional, componential, lexicometric.The originality of the work lies in establishing types of co-relation between the mental and verbal structures. The results can be widely used in academic work - in courses of conceptual theory, lexicography, lexicology, semasiology.
