Magalhaes D. Modern transformations of multicultural strategy

The model of transformed multiculturalism strategy in the European context is presented in dissertation. Genesis and determination of multiculturalism and intercultural dialogue as the strategies of cultural diversity regulation are specified, and also their conceptions are differentiated. Reasons of "failure" of multiculturalism approbation are defined. In the specific multicultural situations of European Union and Ukraine, especially of Crimea, argued necessity exactly of transformation of multiculturalism strategy. The method of its transformation - by the synthesis of effective components of multiculturalism and cultural dialogue is grounded. On this basis the conceptual model of transformed multiculturalism is presented, that allows sequential embodiment of this cultural strategy. The model is projected on regulation of intercultural relations in cultural space of EU and Ukraine, in particular of Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
