Essay

Dissertation is based on the structural and historical analysis of state-church relations historical continuum and the interaction of the State and Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Specific features and regularities of state-church relations development are distinguished in different historical periods and at the present stage the state creation. We analyze the current status of international experience and historical space sphere of state-church relations and their features. Systematic analysis of nation legislation and the scope of state-church relations are provided as well as regulations in the area of religious rights and freedom of citizens. The current status and institutional features of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church and compound interaction with the state are identified as well as key priority areas of cooperation and social activities of the Church. It was proposed conceptual justification major bases for cooperation and mechanisms of cooperation of Church and State at the present stage. It was lighted the conceptual need for a spiritual discipline which includes value and moral content on the basis of Christian culture and ethics in the training, retraining and in-service training of civil servants, Local Government officials. The establishment of the institution could be done on the basis of the National Academy of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine.
