Essay

The dissertation presents the study of somatic, psychological, emotional and vegetative nervous system characteristics; blood levels of serotonin and adrenalin for estimate of the state health the intellectually gifted children. We have found the common diseases in primary school age children with high intellect - vegetative dysfunction of vegetative nervous system, orthopedic pathology and myopia. The conditioning of the intellectually gifted children is characterized by decrease of physical development, disharmony with prevalence asthenic and digestive somatotypes. Psychological and emotional state of the children with high intellect is characterized by emotional imbalance. Children with high intellect demonstrated more high level of effort index that may be one sign of increase of activity sympathetic part of the vegetative nervous system. Vegetative reactivity in case of physical loading showed by hypersympatheticotonia but in case of intellectual loading - minimal tension. Electroencephalogramma of the children with high intellect is characterized by increase of oscillation beta-range and forming alfa-rhythm. The level of adrenalin in blood of the intellectually gifted children was increased but level of serotonin- opposite - decreased. The created algorithm for prognosis of adaptation disorders in children with high intellect may be used for determination of degree desadaptation and its correction.
